Confusing, but enjoyable. I often find myself simply unplugging and taking time "to be bored". I made a choice a long time, working night shifts, to not be bored but to fill my time with seeing and observing my life rather than running away from it. Perhaps this makes me old-fashioned? "Antiquated*, but I enjoy the time that I have.

Paradox, Portals and Alternate universes aside, the fact of some just creating a time machine is breaking time in it self, as that time machine could be replicated in the past, this also applies to the future, so my point is that never ever a time machine has been created. The only real way of travelling in time, is actually by traveling into the space.

One thing I did not hear addressed regarding time moving faster as we grow older is the means of memory being recorded, how are brains change with age. I tend to think of it as frames per second or our sampling rate. As we get older maybe we lose our ability to capture slices of time or so then when we were Young. Things play at a regular speed when you're younger they're more frames per second therefore seeming slow motion when you're older they are less frames per second played it regular speed seem to go fast, just my thoughts and probably not even original.

This shit hit me kinda hard, and I know why this video was sooo long, because every human, at some point, feels this. That sense that you're running out of time to live and that you have to make sacrifices, or cut corners, in order to save time. We are stuck in this paradigm of feeling the need to constantly distract ourselves from the world, and it's cancer, because we miss out on actually experiencing it, and it's perhaps one of the worst things mankind has done to itself.

Interesting I'm glad I stopped by for this. I have had a theory for a long time about time passage/perception. It has to to with long and short term memory, when you are involved in repetitive actions while they will make it to short term, when these repetitive memories attempt to transition to the long term they are rejected if it is too similar to previously stored long term memories. While you are young and experiencing new stuff all the time, you will have many long term memories develop, and why you feel that you have a very long childhood. As you go through life more and more of these repetitive memories get rejected, creating large gaps in your long term memory, thus the illusion of time going by much quicker as you get older. You may get to this in the video I stopped it at 4:46 when this reminded me of the theory.
