Green clearly committed a jump ball violation. The play should have been blown dead as soon as Green entered the restricted area prior to one of the jumpers touching the ball. Ball should have been immediately awarded to Charlotte as a result of Green's jump ball violation. Those are the rules and not surprisingly, the NBA refs screwed it up.
